GBC Wins Big at the 2023 Ghana Journalist Association Awards

Five Journalists of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) have been honoured for their hard work in various categories at the 27th Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) Awards. The ceremony took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Sunday, 29th October 2023. 


The theme for the awards event was “Leveraging media freedom to sustain the democratic and security architecture: The litmus test of election 2024” The five journalists who made GBC proud are Gifty Adjei who was adjudged the Best in Feature (Television); Beatrice Senadju came tops in the Health Reporter category; Doreen Ampofo won for Feature (Radio); Akua Oforiwaa Darko (TV) was the Best in Environment and Science; with Kwaku Bolton being adjudged winner in the Arts and Entertainment category. Each winner was awarded a plaque and a citation.
