GBC’s Director-General Honored as CEO of the Year in Media at the 2nd Ghana CEO Awards Night.

Prof. Amin Alhassan receives prestigious award at Ghana CEO Awards

The event took place at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel on Saturday, 30th September 2023 under the theme “The Role of Business Leadership towards Achieving the SDGs in Ghana”. The keynote speaker for the event was the Vice President Of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The Director-General of GBC was given a plaque, a medal and a certificate in recognition of his contribution towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 16 (which emphasises the promotion of just, peaceful and inclusive societies) and dedication to upholding journalistic integrity while producing clear values towards the development of the media industry.

The prestigious accolades were a testament to Prof. Alhassan’s unwavering dedication to upholding journalistic integrity while nurturing the growth and development of Ghana’s media industry.
